Plus they laid some pipe around the side and were tamping down the earth.

OK, they are working day and night. Here is the rear window that is lit at night and work can be seen going on. It doesn't show in the picture but there is a freezer door visible through the window.
They must be done on the roof because they removed equipment from there this afternoon.
Progress
Activity going on. The cement truck is out there pouring , concrete barriers (not sound barriers) are being placed. The real good news is I hear they are putting in a new coffee shop.

On the east side all trenches are covered over. Flag stakes mark the way for something. Road or parking lot? Who knows.
